Market Street Park is an urban pocket park in the City of Charlottesville located at 101 East Market Street in the North Downtown Neighborhood. Covering slightly over 1.04 acres, the large equestrian monument of Robert Edward Lee mounted on his horse Traveler, by sculptor Henry Merwin Shrady, was the focal point of the park, unveiled at a ceremony on May 21, 1924.
