RONALD W: Well he was mostly a father figure to some of the guys, which I really didn’t know, cause I really, I came, when I went to practice, I did what I had to do, and when practice was over, I left. There was no hanging around with the other team members and so forth, you just, I left.
ROLAND W: It’s like a job, you go do your job, and you go home. We had fun while we did it.
PHYLLIS LEFFLER: Do you think some of the other kids hung around and socialized more, or do you just not know?
RONALD W: They probably did. There was only four blacks on the team.
