Well, I had no choice in 1967.  Burley was shut down in 1967.  So everyone went into Lane High School.  But the reasoning beforehand was that Lane High School had better facilities than Burley did.  Now, I don’t know if that was true or not, but that was the conventional wisdom as far as integration, period, was concerned, to be honest with you.
